Artist Biography by Fred Thomas, ALL MUSIC LLC

Inspired by Lil Wayne's complex lyrical design as well as the thick funk of the West Coast rap he grew up surrounded by, DMB Gotti began releasing music in 2017. He offered up featured verses on songs like Johnny Rose's "Dirt Money" and Coldhearted AC's "Add AK" while he was working on singles of his own. He released tracks regularly, moving from spare bangers like 2018's "Toot That Shit Up" to more the more atmospheric "Growing Pains" and "Trick or Treat" in 2019. DMB Gotti released 7" singles in 2019; the straightforward and catchy "Peter Piper" attracted the most attention and was streamed over a million times.

DMB Gotti started off 2020 on a terror opening on a National Tour for G HERBO starting in January 2020. He was also the headliner in the 2020 Black College Expo conventions in Los Angeles Feb. 1, 2020 and in Oakland, CA with over 10,000 guest attendees in each city. This record was blowing up all over the country with Nick Cannon co-signing the record that featured his dance from the hit movie "LOVE DON'T COST A THING". The song was also a major hit with dance crews and cheerleading squads all over his city and taking off nationally. Stay tuned for DMB to hit the CLASSCFIED TOURS after the pandemic.

DMB Gotti x Toosii Release “Peter Piper” Remix

original version of “Peter Piper,” released on Asylum Records quickly became a viral sensation in Fall 2019. The song generated over 10 million digital streams with platinum artists Marshmello and Saweetie sharing the track on their social media platforms. The dance video went viral on Twitter with over 5 million views in less than 3 days. The track’s success led to DMB Gotti opening for G Herbo on his nationwide PTSD Tour.
